FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here you'll find answers to some of our most asked questions. If you don't find the answers you're looking for, simply contact us and we'll make sure to answer them. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your skin journey!

Product Orders & Payments

  • How long will it take for my product order to come in?
    Online product orders take about 2-3 business days to be fulfilled if the items are in stock. Some orders may take longer to process if the items are out of stock. A team member will contact you once your order is ready for pickup or once your order has shipped.

  • Which products do you currently carry?
    We currently carry the following product lines: Rhonda Allison, Dr. Jeff, Babe Lash, Bio-Therapeutic Technologies, MedPeel, Brow Down Studios, Kelley Baker Brows, Tuel, and GlyMed.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We are currently accepting all major credit cards for orders placed online, including Klarna and AfterPay. For in-person purchases, we accept all major credit cards, cash, and AfterPay.

Location & Staff

  • Where is your office located?
    We now have two locations! You can find us in Salinas, CA at 319 Salinas Street near Old Town. Or if you're in the SoCal area we now have an Ontario, CA location at 337 N Vineyard Ave., Suite 400.

  • How many staff members are available for booking?
    We currently have three full-time estheticians at our Salinas location and one full-time esthetician at our Ontario location. Skin By Karina travels to both Citrine Aesthetics locations. 

Policies

  • What is your cancellation policy?
    If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require you give no less than a 48hrs notice. If you are past the 48hr window you will be charged 50% of your scheduled service. You will not be able to book a future appointment until paid.​

  • What if I miss my appointment without letting anyone know?
    If you do not call and/or do not show at the time of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of your scheduled service total and will not be able to book a future appointment until paid.

  • What if I'm running late for my appointment?
    There is a late grace period of 7 minutes. If you're past the 7min window, I may not be able to see you and you will be charged a $50 late fee. You will not be able to book a future appointment until paid.​ If you are running late, please communicate with us ASAP. We might be able to work something out.

Appointments

  • How do I book an appointment?
    All clients, new and existing, can make an appointment with their desired esthetician directly through our Square link. Please note that if Skin by Karina is booked out you may choose to add yourself to her waitlist. If not, you can select one of our other talented estheticians.

  • I'm a new client and I'm not sure which services to book. Help.
    We recommend that all first-time clients book a New Client Skin Analysis appointment. During this appointment, we'll discuss in-depth your skin concerns, skin triggers, and skin goals. The New Client Skin Analysis includes your uniquely tailored skin treatment at the time of this appointment. 

  • What should I do to prepare my skin before my appointment?
    We ask that all of our clients come to their appointment with clean, makeup-free skin. This is the best way to get the most out of your skin treatment. It is also okay to shower before your appointment.

  • How much time should I set aside for my appointment?
    You can expect to spend about 60-75 minutes for any typical service.

  • Can I work out after my scheduled services have been completed?
    No. We do not recommend that you participate in exercise immediately after your skin treatment. It is better to wait until the following day. You can choose to work out and shower prior to your appointment.

  • I'm a new potential client. How long should I expect to be on the waitlist?
    First off, thank you for your interest! We are experiencing high volumes of interest and at the moment it will take about 6 months for us to get through the waitlist.

  • I'm pregnant. Can I still receive services?
    Most of the ingredients used in our skin treatments are pregnancy safe. However, there are some treatments that we do not recommend if you are pregnant. If you are pregnant, please let us know at the time of your appointment so we can take any necessary precautions.
